GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY
We have always believed that Reitmeier can – and should – have a positive impact on our community. This is why we became a B Corporation in 2017 and have been donating our services to local non-profit Rose Haven since 2014.
Rose Haven is a non-profit intervention center for women and children experiencing the trauma of abuse and homelessness in Portland. The organization’s mission is to maintain a safe, respectful community while providing guests with support and services to assist them in regaining stability in their lives.
To fulfill its mission, Rose Haven provides women and children with free food, clothing, hygiene products, diapers, and showers. The organization also provides on-site counseling and referral services to help its clients obtain housing, medical care, and legal services. Guests can also take classes in writing, math, creative arts, and health education at no cost.
Rose Haven Support
As our ongoing contribution, Reitmeier technicians visit Rose Haven regularly to maintain their HVAC equipment and replace worn parts, free of charge. We also make ourselves available for repairs whenever they experience problems with their heating and cooling system.
Each spring, Reitmeier participates in Rose Haven’s Easter Feast – our employees prepare and serve meals, we donate Easter baskets for the kids, and we help with the Easter Egg Hunt. In December, our team puts up a special Christmas giving tree in the Reitmeier lobby to spread awareness about Rose Haven’s Christmas Gift Drive. Just before Christmas, the unwrapped gifts are delivered to the organization. These include diapers, toys, sleeping bags, and coats over to Rose Haven for the women and children who were visiting their facility. During this time, we also help them with their Holiday Store.
“We love what Rose Haven does for our community,” Reitmeier President Jeff Nusz said. “They are really able to provide tremendous amounts of help and resources for a lot of people who are in dire need.”

Currently, we are helping Rose Haven with their school supplies drive. The organization is striving to send each child back to school with a brand new backpack, as well as working to collect brand new clothing and shoes for children and teens.

There are multiple ways to get your donations to us:
- You can drop off school supplies by Friday, August 24th at noon at the Reitmeier lobby. We are located at 19570 SW 90th Ct, Tualatin, OR 97062.
- You can also call us at 503-603-0205 and we will come and pick up your donation.
- If there are Reitmeier technicians working at your building, you can give your donations to them and we will ensure it gets to Rose Haven.
